AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY ' S PERSONNELIVOMSGARDING
POLITICAL ACTIVITY . 1jrill * ,� YF-r:

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That the City ' s Personnel Policy regarding
political activity is hereby amended by adding the following
paragraph to read as follows :
No city employee shall seek appointment to a paid
political position without first obtaining the written
approval of the city manager . The city manager may with-
hold such approval if he determines that the employee ' s
application for the position in question would reasonably be
expected to disrupt the efficiency , integrity , or discipline
of the public service .
Section 2 . All ordinances or resolutions , or parts thereof ,
in conflict herewith , are hereby repealed .
