AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 19 - 173 OF THE FAV8TTEV1W fr- p
CODE OF ORDINANCES TO PROVIDE THAT PARKING METER REGtf 'TIONS1(
AT THE FAYETTEVILLE MUNICIPAL AIRPORT SHALL BE APPLICABLE ON
SUNDAYS AND PUBLIC HOLIDAYS .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
` Section 1 . That Section 19 - 173 of the Fayetteville Code
pv' of Ordinances is hereby amended by adding the following :
The exception for Sundays and public holidays shall not
apply to parking meters located at the Fayetteville
Municipal Airport (Drake Field) and the deposit of coins
in parking meters at the Fayetteville Municipal Airport
(Drake Field ) shall be required on all days between the
hours of 7 : 00 A . M . and 10 : 00 P . M .
Section 2 . The Board of Directors hereby determines the
regulation of parking at the Fayetteville Municipal Airport
(Drake Field ) on Sundays and public holidays is essential to
the public safety and that the passage of this Ordinance is
necessary to regulate parking on such days . Therefore , an
emergency is hereby declared to exist , and this Ordinance being
necessary for the public health , safety and welfare , shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage .
