BALLOT TITLE TO BE USED AT THE SPECIAL ELECTION
QUESTION OF ANNEXATION OF SAID TERRITORY .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That the legal description set forth in
Section 1 of Ordinance No . 2383 is hereby amended to read as
set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part
hereof .
Section 2 . That ordinance No . 2383 is hereby amended
by adding Section 4 to read as follows :
Section 4 . That the question shall be placed on the
ballot for the election in substantially the following
form :
Vote on measure by placing an "X" in the square opposite
the measure either FOR or AGAINST :
FOR annexation of the territory described in Ordinance
No . 2383 , as amended .
AGAINST annexation of the territory described in Ordi -
nance No . 2383 , as amended .
It is proposed that the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas
annex territory located on both sides of Arkansas High -
way 265 from Arkansas Highway 45 East , thence north _ to
the existing corporate limits south of Old Wire Road
and territory located on the east side of Arkansas
Highway 265 from the existing corporate limits south of
Old Wire Road , thence north to County Road 555
( Chigger Hill Road ) .
Section 3 . That Ordinance No . 2383 is hereby amended
by adding Section 5 to read as follows :
Section 5 . That a copy of this Ordinance shall be furnished
to the Washington County Board of Election Commissioners so
that the necessary election officials and supplies may be provided .
