AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLEE2T �(Df
TIGUOUS PROPERTY LOCATED IN WASHINGTON COUNTY ADJACENT TO 'AR$t
C1 HIGHWAY 265 NORTH OF ARKANSAS HIGHWAY 45 EAST ) FIXING THE DATE FOR
THE ELECTION ON THE QUESTION OF SAID ANNEXATION ; AND FURTHER PURPOSES ,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That the following described property be , and the
same is hereby annexed to the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas :
The East Half (E 1/ 2 ) of the Southeast Quarter ( SE 1/4 )
of the Southeast Quarter ( SE 1/ 4 ) of Section Thirty-Six
( 36 ) , Township Seventeen ( 17 ) North , Range Thirty ( 30 )
West , of Washington County , Arkansas ; also , the East
Half (E 1/2 ) of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4 ) of the
Southeast Quarter ( SE 1/4 ) of Section Thirty-Six ( 36 ) ,
Township Seventeen ( 17 ) North , Range Thirty ( 30 ) West ,
of Washington County , Arkansas ; also , part of the North-
east Quarter (NE 1/4 ) of the Southeast Quarter ( SE 1/4 )
of Section Thirty- six ( 36 ) , Township Seventeen ( 17 )
North , Range Thirty ( 30 ) West , of Washington County ,
Arkansas , and more particularly described as follows :
Part of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4 ) of the Southeast
Quarter (SE 1/ 4 ) of Section Thirty- six ( 36 ) , Township
Seventeen ( 17 ) North , Range Thirty ( 30 ) West , of the
Fifth P . M . , being more particularly described as that
part of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/ 4 ) of the Southeast
Quarter (SE 1/ 4 ) of Section Thirty- six ( 36 ) , lying South
of a line which is 660 ' south of and parallel to an equi -
distant from the center line of Old Wire Road ; also , the
East Half (E 1/2 ) , of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/ 4 ) of
Section Thirty-one ( 31 ) , Township Seventeen ( 17 ) North ,
Range Twenty-nine ( 29 ) West of Washington County , Arkansas ;
also , the East Half (E 1/2 ) of the West Half (W 1/2 ) of
Section Thirty ( 30 ) , Township Seventeen ( 17 ) North , Range
Twenty-nine ( 29 ) West of Washington County , Arkansas ; also ,
the East Half ( E 1/ 2 ) of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4 ) of
Section Nineteen ( 19 ) , Township Seventeen ( 17 ) North , Range
Twenty-nine ( 29 ) West of Washington County , Arkansas ; also ,
the South Half ( S 1/2 ) of the Southeast Quarter ( SE 1/4 of
the Southwest Quarter ( SW 1/ 4 ) of Section Nineteen ( 19 ) ,
Township Seventeen ( 17 ) North , Range Twenty-Nine ( 29 ) West
of Washington County , Arkansas .
Section 2 . That the following services shall be extended to
the aforesaid area within three years after the date annexation
thereof become final : fire protection , police protection , sanita-
tion service , and water service .

Section 3 , That a special election be , and the same is hereby ,
ordered to be held in the City on the 29th day of November , 1977 ,
at which election it shall be submitted to the qualified electors
of the City and of the aforesaid area the question of whether said
area shall be annexed to the City .
