ARK A h' 1 •+ YER AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING AN ALLEN GARLAND AVENUE AND LINDELL STREET IN BLOCK FOUR OF ROS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS . WHEREAS , The Board of Directors has the authority under Ark . Stat . 19 - 2304 to vacate portions of alleys which are not required for corporate purposes ; and WHEREAS , the Board of Directors has determined that the following described alley is not required for corporate pur- poses . NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS : Section 1 . That the following described alley between Garland Avenue and Lindell Street in Block Four of Rose Hill Addition to the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , be , and the same is hereby , vacated and abandoned ; An alley described as follows : Beginning at the Southwest corner Lot Four ( 4 ) of Block Four ( 4 ) of Rose Hill Addition , thence North 225 feet to the Northwest corner of Lot One ( 1 ) of Block Four ( 4 ) of Rose Hill Addition ; thence West 20 feet to the Northeast corner of Lot Eight ( 8 ) of Block Four ( 4 ) of Rose Hill Addition ; thence South 225 feet to the Southeast corner of Lot Five ( 5 ) of Block Four ( 4 ) of Rose Hill Addition ; thence East 20 feet to the point of beginning . Section 2 . The City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , hereby reserves utility easements , on , over , across , and under the above des- cribed alley ; said utility easements shall be for the benefit of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , the electric power company , the telephone company , and the gas company . Section 3 . A copy of this Ordinance , duly certified by the City Clerk , shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Washington County , Arkansas , in the deed records of the County .
