AN ORDINANCE WAIVING THE REQUIREMENT OF COMPETITIVE BIDDING
FOR THE REHABILITATION OF HOUSES LOCATED AT 100 NORTH WILLOW ,
324 EAST CENTER STREET , AND 510 SOUTH COLLEGE AVENUE .
WHEREAS , the City of Fayetteville has heretofore advertised
for competitive bids for the rehabilitation of houses located
at 100 North Willow , 324 East Center Street , and 510 South
College Avenue ; and
WHEREAS , no bids within the budget for the aforesaid housing
rehabilitation project were received .
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That the requirement of competitive bidding
for the rehabilitation of houses located at 100 North Willow ,
324 East Center Street , and 510 South College Avenue be , and
the same is hereby , waived .
Section 2 . That the City Manager be , and he is hereby ,
authorized to enter into negotiations with contractors to
complete the aforesaid housing rehabilitation projects .
