AN ORDINANCE DISSOLVING SEWER IMPROVEMENT DIST9riCU17NtLbPlPR
1 OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS .
eJ WHEREAS , Sewer Improvement District Number 1 of the City of
Fayetteville , Arkansas was established by Ordinance Number 196
adopted by the Fayetteville City Council on September 29 , 1906
for the purpose of installing , maintaining and operating a system
of sewers for the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas ; and
WHEREAS , the sewer improvements authorized for construction
by said ordinance have long since been completed ; and
WHEREAS , title to and control of said facilities constructed
by the District have long since been taken over and assumed by
the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas ; and
WHEREAS , the bonds of said improvement district have long
since been paid in full ; and
WHEREAS , no assessments against property within the district
remain to be collected ; and
WHEREAS , the Commissioners have executed a deed in favor of
the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas conveying all real estate to
which it holds and claims title ; and
WHEREAS , said District has no assets ; and
WHEREAS , the Commissioners constituting the Board of
Improvement of said Improvement District have filed with the
City Clerk a Resolution setting forth the aforesaid facts
and requesting the Board of Directors to dissolve said District .
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That Sewer Improvement District Number 1 of the
City of Fayetteville , Arkansas be , and the same is hereby , dis -
solved .
Section 2 . That the Commissioners of said District are
hereby relieved from any and all further duties with respect
to said District .
