AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE II , SECTION C OF APPENDIX
C TO THE FAYETTEVILLE CODE OF ORDINANCES TO DELETIjer"OV *241111 . 05

Section 1 . That those paragraphs of Article II , Section C
of Appendix C to the Fayetteville Code of Ordinances found at
Page 930 of said Code are hereby deleted and the following sub-
stituted therefor :
When the final plat has been approved by the
Planning Commission , the subdivider shall submit the
original drawing , with the approval of the Planning
Commission certified thereon , to the Planning Ad-
ministrator to be filed by the City Clerk with the
County Recorder as the offical plat of record . One
reproducible transparent "Mylar " copy of the final
plat containing the certification of the Planning
Commission shall be submitted by the subdivider to the
Planning Administrator for city records .
The subdivider shall submit eleven ( 11 ) copies of
the final plat containing the certification of the
Planning Commission to the Planning Administrator who
shall retain one copy for the Planning Commission and
forward one copy to each of the following : the County
Tax Assessor , the City Water and Sewer Department , the
Street Department , the Building Inspector , the gas
company , the electric company , the telephone company ,
the Northwest Arkansas Regional Planning Commission ,
the Fayetteville Public School Administration , and the
City Clerk .
Approval of a final plat by the Planning Commission
shall not be deemed acceptance of any of the dedications
shown on the plat . Such acceptance shall be made by the
city or the county in the manner prescribed by law .
Section 2 . The Board of Directors hereby determines that
the present procedure for final approval of subdivision plats is
unduly time consuming for the developer that said
procedure hinders the effective administration of local government ;
and that the passage of this ordinance is necessary to correct
said condition . Therefore , an emergency is hereby declared to
exist , and this ordinance being necessary for the public health ,
safety , and welfare shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage .
