BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OFC(( 1 'fO1.T2KOF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That Section 4 ( 3 ) ( a) of Ordinance No . 2255
is hereby amended to read as follows :
( a ) Limit of one on - site wall sign per wall for each
building located on the property , with a maximum of
four signs per building .

Section 2 . That Ordinances or parts thereof , in conflict
herewith , be and hereby are , repealed .
Section 3 . The Board of Directors hereby determines that
Section 4 ( 3 ) ( a ) of Ordinance No . 2255 erroneously prescribes
certain regulations applicable to wall signs in R and R-0
Zoning Districts which have heretofor been superceded ; that
said erroneous regulations prevent the effective enforcement
of the City ' s sign ordinance which enforcement is hereby found
to be necessary for the preservation of the public health ,
safety and welfare ; and that the passage of this ordinance is
necessary to correct said superceded regulations . Therefore ,
an emergency is hereby declared to exist , and this ordinance
being necessary for the public health , safety and welfare , shall
be in full force from and afterits passage .
