AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN EASEMENT ALONG THATPY3RTION-i0E `1(
THE EAST ONE-HALF OF READ AVENUE CLOSED BY ORDINANCE k' UMBER
1100 .
WHEREAS , Read Avenue has previously been closed by Ordinance
Number 1100 ; and
WHEREAS , said ordinance reserved an easement across that
portion of Read Avenue closed thereby ; and
WHEREAS , the Board of Directors has determined that said
easement is not now and will not be needed in the future by the
city or the public generally .
NbW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That the easement rights of the City of Fayette-
ville and of the public generally , over , under , and across the
following described property are hereby vacated :
East One-half (E/2 ) of Read Avenue adjacent to and
West of Lots 8 , 9 and 10 , Block 2 in Mountain View
Addition to the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , as
per plat of said addition on file in the Office of
the Circuit Clerk and Ex-Officio Recorder of Wash-
ington County , Arkansas ; also described as a part
of the Southwest Quarter ( SW/ 4 ) of the Southeast
Quarter ( SE/ 4 ) , Section 10 , Township 16 North , Range
30 West , Washington County , Arkansas , more par-
ticularly described as follows , to-wit : Beginning
at a point 640 feet South and 373 . 20 feet West of
Northeast corner of said forty acre tract , thence
West 25 . 8 feet , thence South 14 ° 20 ' 18 " East 154 . 82
feet , thence East 25 . 8 feet , thence North 140 20 ' 18 "
West 154 . 82 feet to point of beginning .
