AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION OF STREET RIGHT -OF-
WAY BY LORIS STANTON AND PEGGY STANTON AND CLAUDE A . HUGHES ,
JR . AND MARY L . HUGHES ,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That the Board of Directors hereby accepts
and confirms the dedication of street right-of-way by Loris
Stanton and Peggy Stanton and Claude A . Hughes , Jr . and Mary
L . Hughes . A copy of said dedication , marked Exhibit " A" ,
is attached hereto and made a part hereof .

WITH RELINQUISHMENT OF DOWER AND HOMESTEAD
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENT :
That we , Loris Stanton and Peggy Stanton , his wife , and
Claude A . Hughes , Jr . and Mary L . Hughes , his wife , for and
consideration of the sum of One Dollar ( $ 1 . 00 ) and other good
and valuable consideration to us in hand paid by City of Fayette -
ville , Arkansas , a municipal corporation , do hereby grant , bargain
and sell unto the said City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , and unto
its successors and assigns , the following described lands , situate
in Washington County , Arkansas , to-wit :
Ten ( 10 ) feet of equal and uniform width off the South
side of Lots 18 , 19 , 20 , 21 and 22 , Prairie View Addition
to the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , as per plat of
said Addition on file in the Office of the Circuit Clerk
and Ex-Officio Recorder of Washington County , Arkansas ,
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD The said lands and appurtenances thereunto
belonging unto the said City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , and
unto its successors and assigns forever . And we , the said Loris
Stanton and Peggy Stanton , his wife , and Claude A . Hughes , Jr . and
Mary L . Hughes , his wife , do hereby covenant that we are lawfully
seized of said land and premises ; that same is unincumbered ,
and we will forever warrant and defend title to said lands against
all claims whatever .
And we , the said Peggy Stanton and Mary L . Hughes , wives
of Loris Stanton and Claude A . Hughes , Jr . , in consideration
of said sum of money , do hereby release and relinquish unto

the said City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , all our interest , right ,
title and dower and convey our homestead in and to said lands .
