That the outside city limits monthly treated water rates prescribed by Section 21- 25 ( a) of the Fayetteville Code of Ordinances are hereby deleted and the following substi - tuted therefor : No . of Customers Per 1 , 000 Gal . 1 to 299 $ 3 . 0333 300 to 349 1 . 9247 350 to 399 1 . 1328 Over 400 1 . 0000 The rate schedule prescribed by this section shall be effective beginning July 1 , 1976 . Until said date , the rate shall be 1 . 0000 per 1 , 000 gallons . Section 2 . That the outside city limits monthly meter service charge prescribed by Section 21- 25 (b ) of the Fayetteville Code of Ordinances is hereby deleted and the following substituted therefor : Meter Size Outside City Limits 5/8 " $ 6 . 00 1 " 7 . 00 1- 1/ 2 " 9 . 00 2 " 13 . 00 3 " 24 . 00 4 " 34 . 00 6 " 65 . 00 8 " 95 . 00 Section- 3 . That the monthly treated water rates and the monthly meter service charge rates presently prescribed by Sections 21- 25 ( a ) and 21- 25 (b ) of the Fayetteville Code of Ordinances shall continue in effect for those customers outside the city limits receiving city water on the date of adoption of this ordinance until such time as said customers either go off service or until such time as a revised rate structure is adopted by the Board of Directors . Section 4 . That the outside city limits monthly standby fire protection service charge prescribed by Section 21- 25 ( d ) of the Fayetteville Code of Ordinances is hereby deleted . Section 5 . That Section 21- 25 of the Fayetteville Code of Ordinances is hereby amended by adding subsection ( f ) to read as follows : ( f ) Wholesale treated water rate for rural development authority . The rate for wholesale treated water furnished the rural development authority shall be $ 645 . 00 per million gallons . Section 6 . That Section 21- 28 . 1 ( 2 ) of the Fayetteville Code of Ordianances is hereby amended to read as follows : MICROFILM® _. ry DATE I R ran VOL 80•, 907 REEL jr - 2 - ( 2 ) Before service may be re-established following forfeiture of a service deposit , the consumer must pay that part of any bill due the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas for water service not liquidated by his forfeited deposit . Said consumer must also make a new service deposit in accordance with Section 21- 24 above and pay an additional service charge of $ 10 . 00 if service can be re -established during normal service hours ( 8 : 00 A . M . to 5 : 00 P . M . Monday through Friday , except holidays recognized by the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas ) and $ 15 . 00 if service is to be re -established during a period of time other than normal service hours . Section 7 . That Section 21- 28 . 2 of the Fayetteville Code of Ordinances is hereby amended by adding subsection ( d ) to read as follows : ( d ) If the problem with the bill is due to leakage or some problem other than a misread or a malfunction of city equipment , the consumer shall pay a service charge of $ 5 . 00 . Section 8 . That Chapter 21 of the Fayetteville Code of Or- dinances is hereby amended by adding Section 31 to read as follows : Sec . 21- 31 . Turn on fee . For turn on requests re- ceived after 12 : 00 P . M . to be worked the same day , the consumer shall pay a turn on fee of $ 5 . 00 . For turn on requests received after 5 : 00 P . M . to be worked the same evening , the consumer shall pay a turn on fee of $ 10 . 00 . Section 9 . That all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby repealed . Section 10 .
