AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THAT PROPERTY DESCRIBED I91fM RT$ff$R9A-
TION PETITION OF WILLIAM W . MCLEOD , BETTY K . McLEOD , DAVID
M . MCWETHY , AND LAURA S . McWETHY FOR TWO TRACTS OF PROPERTY
TOTALLING 5 . 85 ACRES , LOCATED AT 2870 - 2880 CROSSOVER ROAD .
WHEREAS , William W . McLeod , Betty K . McLeod , David M .
McWethy , and Laura S . McWethy own certain property hereinafter de -
scribed adjoining the corporate limits of the City of Fa-
yetteville ; and
WHEREAS , said property owners filed a petition with the
Washington County Court requesting that the property herein-
after described be annexed to the City of Fayetteville ; and
WHEREAS , The Washington County Court held a public hearing on said
annexation petition after publication of notices as required
by law ; and
WHEREAS , the Washington County Court has entered an order
granting said petition and annexing the property hereinafter
described ; and
WHEREAS , a notice of objection to the County Court ' s order
has not been filed within thirty days from the date of said
order .
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That the annexation of the following described
property to the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , as ordered by
the Washington County Court , is hereby accepted , to-wit :
TRACT 1 :
Part of the Southwest Quarter ( SW- 1/4 ) of the Northwest
Quarter (NW- 1/ 4 ) of Section 31 , Township 17 North , Range
29 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian , Washington County ,
Arkansas , more particularly described as follows : Beginning
at a point located 526 . 7 feet South and 611 . 1 feet South
89 degrees 27 minutes East from the Northwest corner of
the Southwest Quarter ( SW- 1/4 ) of the Northwest Quarter
(NW- 1/4 ) of said Section 31 , said point being on the
approximate centerline of Crossover Road ; thence South
87 degrees 35 minutes East 267 . 96 feet ; thence South
145 . 85 feet ; thence East 102 . 3 feet to the centerline of
a creek ; thence South 93 feet along the centerline of the
creek ; thence West 124 . 8 feet ; thence 87 degrees 25
minutes West 382 . 8 feet to the centerline of Crossover
Road ; thence North along the centerline of Crossover
Road to the point of beginning , containing 2 . 00 acres ,
more or less .
TRACT 2 :
Part of the Southwest Quarter ( SW- 1/4 ) of the Northwest
Quarter (NW- 1/ 4 ) of Section 31 , Township 17 North , Range
29 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian , Washington County ,
Arkansas , more particularly described as follows : Be -
ginning at a point in the center of Crossover Road , 2091 . 00
feet South and 492 . 12 feet East of the Northwest Corner
of Section 31 , thence along said road South 26 degrees
47 minutes West 34 . 03 feet ; thence North 88 degrees 45
minutes 41 seconds East 366 . 86 feet , thence South 1 degree

Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to file
a copy of this ordinance in the office of the Washington County
; Clerk and the office of the Washington County Circuit Clerk .

Section. 3 . That this ordinance shall be in full force
, and effect from and after the time provided by law .
