AN ORDINANCE WAIVING FORMAL BID REQUIREMENTf T

PURCHASE OF MOBILERADIOS FOR THE WATER AND SEWER DEP'ARTMEN,T ;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS , the Water and Sewer Department of the City of
Fayetteville is in need of Mobile Radios ; and
WHEREAS , formal bids for the purchase of said mobile
radios have been advertised for and received ; and
WHEREAS , none of the bids received for said mobile radios
met bid specifications .
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . Pursuant to Ark . Stat . Ann . Sec . 19 - 4425
the requirements of competitive bidding for the purchase of
mobile radios for the Water and Sewer Department as specified
in Bid No . 262 be , and hereby are , waived for the reason that
no bids received conform to bid specifications .
Section 2 . That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage , approval and publication .
