f\IQN;,lORDINANCE WAIVING FORMAL BID REQUIREMENTS FOR , THE,'
PURCHASPOF ONE TRUCK LOAD OF FOUR - INCH SEWER PIPE ; AND' FORICL - t
OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS , the contract pursuant to which the City of Fay -
etteville purchases four - inch sewer pipe has expired ; and
WHEREAS , the City is in immediate need of one truck load
of four - inch sewer pipe .
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That pursuant to Ark . Stat . Ann . Sec . 19 - 4425 ,
the requirements of competitive bidding for one truck load of
four - inch sewer pipe be , and hereby are , waived for the reason
that the contract under which the City purchases said sewer pipe
has expired and the City is in immediate need of one truck load
of said pipe .
Section 2 . That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage , approval and publication .
