PARCEL LARGER THAN ONE ACRE SHALL BE SUBJECT TO THE REQUIREMENTS
OF THE FAYETTEVILLE CODE OF ORDINANCES PERTAINING TO LARGE - SCALE
DEVELOPMENT IN THE SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS (Appendix C , Article
IV , Section I of the Fayetteville Code of Ordinances ) : AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That Article 8 , Section 11 of Ordinance No .
1747 , Appendix A , Article 8 , Section 11 of the Fayetteville Code
of Ordinances , is hereby amended to read as follows :
11 . LARGE SCALE - DEVELOPMENT
The development of a lot or parcel larger than one acre
must be processed in accordance with the requirements for a
large - scale development provided by Appendix C , Article IV ,
Section 1 of the Code of Ordinances .
Section 2 . That all ordinances and resolutions , or parts
thereof in conflict herewith , be , and hereby are , repealed .
Section 3 . It is hereby found and determined by the
Board of Directors that the requirements for the development
of a lot or parcel larger than one acre required by Article
A , Section 17, of Ordinance No . 1747 are vague and indefinite ,
and cause unnecessary loss of time to property owners and to
the Planning Commission ; and that the immediate passage of
this Ordinance is necessary to clarify the requirements for
the development of a lot or parcel larger than one acre .
Therefore , an emergency is hereby declared to exist , and
this ordinance , being necessary for the immediate preservation
of the public health , safety and welfare , shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval .
