AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EXTENSION OF SYCAMORE STREET
ACROSS THE RIGHT OF WAY OF THE ST . LOUIS - SAN FRANCISCO RAILWAY
COMPANY ; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS , the Board of Directors of the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas , deems it desirable to extend Sycamore Street westward
from its termination on Gregg Avenue to a point intersecting
with the existing right of way of Sycamore Street lying west of
the St . Louis - San Francisco Railway ,
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That the Street Department of the City of Fay -
etteville , Arkansas be and hereby is authorized and directed to
extend the right of way of Sycamore Street from its present term -
ination point on Gregg Avenue westward to intersect with the
existing right of way of Sycamore Avenue lying west of the St .
Louis - San Francisco Railway .
Section 2 . That the City Manager , in conjunction with the
City Attorney , be and he hereby is authorized and directed to
secure the necessary right of way from the St . Louis - San Francisco
Railway Company .
