AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING A PART OF LORRAINE
DRIVE IN THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS . !IT:JAI3f11`:PM& COUNTY

WHEREAS , a petition was duly filed with the Board Ao'1 ;k 1 ; �Ll HEYER
Directors of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas on the 2nd`
day of August , 1973 , asking the Board of Directors to vacate
and abandon the following described portion of Lorraine Drive
y j in the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , to - wit :
All that portion of Lorraine Drive ( also known as
Sunset Drive ) which lies North of Blocks Numbered
Two ( 2 ) and Three ( 3 ) of Breezy Heights Addition
NN to the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , as shown
V upon the recorded Platt thereof , and being more
particularly described as beginning at the North
West corner of Block Numbered Two ( 2 ) of said
addition and running thence East 350 feet to
The North East corner of said Block Three ( 3 ) ;
thence North 30 feet ; thence West 350 feet to a
point due North of the point of beginning ; thence
South 30 feet to the point of beginning .
WHEREAS , after due notice as required by law , the Board
of Directors has , at the time and place set forth in the notice
heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and has
ascertained that the portion of the street hereinabove described
has heretofore been dedicated to the public use as a street ;
has never been used by the public ; that all of the owners
of the property adjoining and abutting upon the street to be vaca -
ted have consented to this abandonment , and that the public
interest and welfare will not be adversely affected by the
abandonment of such street .
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . The City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , hereby
releases , vacates , and abandons all its rights , together with
the right of the public generally , subject to the reservation
and utility easements in and to the street deseribed as fol -
lows , to - wit :
All that portion of Lorraine Drive ( also known as
Sunset Drive ) which lies North of Blocks Numbered
Two ( 2 ) and Three ( 3 ) of Breezy Heights Additioh
to the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , as shown
upon the recorded platt thereof , and being more
particularly described as beginning at the North
West corner of Block Numbered Two ( 2 ) of said
addition and running thence East 350 feet to MICRO & ED
the North East corner of said Block Three ( 3 ) ; DATE x1971
thence North 30 feet ; thence West 350 feet to a point REEL 1T

due North of the point of beginning ; thence South
30 feet to the point of beginning .
Section 2 . That said portion of said street shall become
the property of the abutting property owners subject to the
reservation of a 10 - foot utility easement , being 10 feet of equal
and uniform width along the North edge of said above - described
portion of Lorraine Drive
Section 3 . A copy of the ordinance duly certified by the
City Clerk shall be filed in the Office of the Recorder of the
County and recorded in the Deed of Records of the County .
Section 4 . This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage , approval and publication .
