AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 20 OF ORDINANCEOIQ�?�IT C E 110
(ARTICLE II , CHAPTER 20 , CODE OF ORDINANCES , FAYETTEVILLE ,
ARKANSAS ) ; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That Section 20 of Ordinance No . 10
be , and the same hereby is , amended to read as fol ows :
" Section 20 . Vehicles Must Be Kept In A Safe , Clean and
Sanitary Condition . Every veTic e operating unlet tibis ordinance
shall e vacu-umeU or swept out at least daily and exterior shall
be washed at least once each week . Vehicles operating under this
ordinance shall be subject to a thorough examination and inspec -
tion by the Police Department and must comply with such reasonable
rules and regulations as may be prescribed by the Chief of Police .
These rules and regulations shall be promulgated to provide safe
transportation and shall specify such safety equipment and regu -
latory devices as the Chief of Police shall determine necessary
therefore . "
Section 2 . All ordinances and all parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed , and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage , approval
and publication .
