ORDINANCE NO . IS93 ,'�r LS�qNEK
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING TERRITORY ANNEXED TO THE
CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS : ASSIGNING SAID TERRITORY TO
WARDS : AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS , the County Court of Washington County ,
Arkansas made an Order annexing the following described
territory to the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , to - wit :
A part of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1 / 4 )
of the Southeast Quarter ( SE 1 / 4 ) of
Section Thirty - four ( 34 ) , Township Sixteen
( 16 ) North , Range Thirty ( 30 ) West , and
being more particularly described as beginning
at the Northwest corner of said 40 acre tract
and running thence East 980 feet , thence South
300 feet more or less , or to the North right
of way line of the County Road , thence North -
westerly with the North right - of - way line of
said County Road to a point where the North
right - of - way line crosses the West line of
said 40 acre tract , said point being 255
feet South of the point of beginning , thence
North 255 feet to the point of beginning .
WHEREAS , the County - Clerk of Washington County ,
Arkansas , has forwarded the transcript of said proceedings
to the Board of Directors of the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas , and ,
WHEREAS , more than thirty days have elapsed since
the date of said Order and no proceedings . have been instituted
in the Circuit Court to prevent said annexation and no notice
thereof has been given as required by law .
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS:
1 , That the annexation of the above described
territory to the corporate limits of the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas be , and the same is hereby accepted and all of said
territories are hereby signed to and made a part of Ward Three
(3 ) of the City of 'Fayetteville , Arkansas .

We have received a copy of Ordinance No . 1883 , relative i
to the annexation of lands to the City of Fayetteville ,
however , I do not find a copy of. the order of the County
Court of Washington County , relative to this annexation as
required by Arkansas Statute 19 - 305 .
Would you kindly have a certified copy of the judges order
forwarded to our office . We will then attach it to the
Ordinance you sent and file it in the records . In the mean -
time , I shall hold your papers until receipt of such order .
Whenever we can be of any further - service , please let
me know .
