Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance 1877 1 F .E 10 FORR .ECCpn 72 AUG P14 1 .- 24 ORDINANCE NO . 1877 WASHIMGTOn CGUNTY ALMARXOLLMEYER CIRCUIT ,^,LF3'S AN ORDINANCE LEVING ASSESSMENTS AGAINST THE PROPERTY BENEFICED BY THE IMPROVEMENT OF JACKSON DRIVE FROM MISSION AVENUE TO NORTH JACKSON DRIVE ; STATING THE MANNER IN WHICH SAID ASSESSMENTS ARE PAYABLE ; AND STATING THE TIME WITHIN WHICH SAID ASSESSMENTS ARE PAYABLE . WHEREAS , a majority in value of the owners of real property benefited by the improvement of Jackson Drive from Mission Boulevard to North Jackson Drive have petitioned the Board of Directors for the construction of said improvement and that a �^ portion of the cost thereof be assessed upon the real property benefited , according to the benefits received . NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS , Section 1 . That all of the real property situated in the following territory located in the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas : Lots 18 through 31 , inclusive , Jackson Heights Addition , a subdivision of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , as per plat of said addition on file in the office of the Circuit Clerk and Ex - officio Recorder of Washington County , Arkansas . Be and the same is hereby formed into a local assessment district for the purpose of improving Jackson Drive from Mission Boulevard to North Jackson Drive . Section 2 . That the several lots , blocks , or other sub - divisions of real property within said assessment district be , and they hereby are , assessed as per the schedule of assessments on file with the City Clerk of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , which assessments bear interest at the rate of ten percent ( 10 % ) per annum from September 1 , 1972 , unless the property owner ( s ) choose ( s ) to pay in a lump sum as hereinafter provided . Section 3 . That ten percent ( 10 % ) of said assessment of the value of the benefits of each of the said lots , blocks , or subdivisions of land shall be paid annually on or before Sep - tember 1 of each year until the whole of said assessment shall have been paid , beginning September 1 , 1972 . Section 4 . That the property owner ( s ) may pay the assess - ment levied in a lump sum payable within thirty ( 30 ) days after the completion of the proposed improvements . r / MICROFI CTPD s 1978 DEED 836 PAGE 65.1 DATE Section S .
