AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE , NAQI il(4MV�1 RZQNING
DISTRICT MAP OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS , APPROVGFCIUI A92 19702
TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM A - 1 , Agricultural District , to
R - 2 , Medium Density Resdiential District .
WHEREAS , A public hearing was held before the Planning
Commission of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , on February 1 ,
1972 , on a petition by Walter V . Grimes and Zeatra Grimes requesting
that said Planning Commission recommend to the Board of Directors
of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , that the Board of Directors
enact an ordinance rezoning the following described property
presently zoned A - 1 , Agricultural District , to R - 2 , Medium
Density Residential District , to - wit :
Part of the SEk of the NEk and part of the NEk of the
SEk of Section 19 , T - 16 - N , R - 30 - W , being more particularly
described as follows : Beginning at a point that is South
89 degrees 38 minutes West 476 . 4 feet from the NE corner
of said SEk of the NEk , thence South 89 degrees 38 minutes
West 596 feet , thence south 984 feet , thence south 4 degrees
26 minutes East 168 feet , thence West 13 feet , thence South
162 . 5 feet , thence North 89 degrees 38 minutes , East 395 . 2
feet , thence South 85 degrees 49 minutes East 201 . 43 feet ,
thence North 1320 feet to the point of beginning , containing
18 . 09 acres
and ,
WHEREAS , notice of said public hearing setting forth the-.,..
time , date , place and purposes of said hearing and location
of the property was published in the Northwest Arkansas Times ,
a newspaper of general circulation in the City , more than fifteen
days prior to said public hearing , and
WHEREAS , following said public hearing , said Planning Commission
certified to the Board of Directors of the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas , its recommendation that an Ordinance be adopted rezoning
the above described property presently zoned from A - 1 , Agricultural
District , to R - 2 , Medium Density Residential District .
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That the above described property which is
presently zoned A - 1 , Agricultural District be and the same hereby
is rezoned to R - 2 , Medium Density Residential District ,
Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage ,
approval , and publication .
