AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING TERRITORY ANNEXED TO THE
CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS : ASSIGNING SAID TERRITORY
TO WARDS AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS , the County Court of Washington County ,
Arkansas , did make an Order annexing the following
described territory to the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas ,
to - wit :
The Northeast Quarter ( NE ; ) of the Southwest Quarter
( SW; ) of Section Nineteen ( 19 ) , Township Seventeen
( 17 ) North , Range Twenty - nine ( 29 ) West , and part
of the Southeast Quarter ( SE; ) of the Southwest Quarter
( SW; ) of said Section beginning at the Southeast corner
thereof and running thence West 300 feet , thence North
with the centerline of a 60 foot roadway 1314 . 05 feet ,
more or less , to the North line of said forty ( 40 )
acre tract ; thence East 300 feet to the Northeast corner
thereof ; thence South 1314 . 05 feet , more or less , to
place of beginning , the South 20 feet and the West
30 feet being subject to a road right - of - way , also be -
ginning 1280 . 05 feet North and 300 feet West of the
Southeast corner of said forty acre tract , in the center
of said 60 foot roadway , and running thence West along
the centerline of the road 1010 feet , more or less ,
to the West line of said forty acre tract , thence South
along said line 760 . 10 feet to a point North 0 deg .
20 min . West 529 . 90 feet from the Southwest corner of
said forty acre tract , thence South 89 deg . 45 min .
East 253 . 12 feet , thence South 71 deg . 04 min . East
441 . 75 ; thence North North 127 feet 4 inches ; thence
East 342 . 10 feet to the centerline of the roadway , thence
North 770 . 72 feet , more or less , to the place of
beginning .
WHEREAS , The County Clerk of Washington County ,
Arkansas , has forwarded the transcript of said proceedings
to the Board of Directors of the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas , and ,
WHEREAS , more than thirty days have elapsed since
the date of said Order and no proceedings have been
instituted in the Circuit Court to prevent said annexation

and no notice thereof has been given as required by law .
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
1 . That the annexation of the above described
territory to the corporate limits of the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas be , and the same is hereby accepted and all of said
territories are hereby assigned to and made a part of Ward
3 of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas .
2 . That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage , approval , and publication .
