AN ORDINANCE CORRECTING THE LEGAL DESCRIPTIONIMBIT CLERK
LANDS DESCRIBED IN PLAT OF VIRGINIA HILLS ADDITION TO
THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS .
WHEREAS , the plat of Virginia Hills Addition to the
City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , was duly presented to the
Planning Commission of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas ,
and approved by said Commission on the 15th day of December ,
1964 , and submitted to the City Council of the City of
Fayetteville , Arkansas , and approved by said Council by
Ordinance , No . 1417 and said plat was filed for record in
the office of the Circuit Clerk and Ex - Officio Recorder of
Washington County , Arkansas on January 5 , 1965 , and appears
of record in Fayetteville Plat Book at page 160 ; and
WHEREAS , the plat properly describes all of the lands
in said Addition ; and
WHEREAS , the legal description shown on the face of
said plat purporting to describe the lands embraced in
said Addition does not properly describe the lands embraced
in said subdivision ; and
WHEREAS , the correct legal description of the lands
embraced in said Addition is as follows :
A part of the South Half (S 1 / 2 ) of the North -
east Quarter (NE 1 / 4 ) of Section 10 , Township
16 North , Range 30 West of the 5th P . M . , County
of Washington , State of Arkansas , being more
particularly described as follows : Beginning
at the Southeast corner of the Southwest Quarter
( SW 1 / 4 ) of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1 / 4 ) of
said Section 10 , thence West 576 . 23 feet , thence
North 16 ° 48 ' East 397 . 1 feet , thence North 45 °
04 ' East 219 . 3 feet , thence East 314 feet , thence
North 0 ° 04 ' East 104 . 18 feet , thence East 286 . 0
feet , thence South 0 ° 04 ' West 620 .feet , thence West
286 . 0 feet to the point of beginning .
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Directors
of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas :
Section 1 . That the legal description of the lands
embraced in said Virginia Hills Addition to the City of
Fayetteville , Arkansas , is found and declared to be as
hereinabove set out .

Section 2 . That the plat of said Addition is hereby
amended and corrected insofar as the same does not properly
describe said lands , so as to show that the legal description
of the lands covered by said plat and embraced in said
subdivision is as hereinabove set out .
Section 3 . That all ordinances and all parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect upon its passage , approval ,
and publication .
