C;L .. ; ;,- ER ;. ; C!:IT C ;- ERN AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO . 1747 AND ZONING DISTRICT MAP OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS , APPROVED JUNE 29 , 1970 , TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM R - 0 , RESIDENTIAL OFFICE DISTRICT TO C - 2 , THOROUGH - FARE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT . WHEREAS , a public hearing was held before the Planning Commission of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas on July 20 , 1971 , on a petition by the Planning Commission requesting that the Board of Directors enact an ordinance rezoning the following described property presently zoned R - 0 , Residential Office District to C - 2 , Thoroughfare Commercial District . Beginning at a point on the North ROW line of Spring Street where the North ROW line of Spring Street intersects with the East ROW line of College Avenue , thence East along the North ROW line of Spring Street 220 feet , thence North 110 feet , thence East 60 feet , thence North to the North line of Dickson Street ROW , thence West along North ROW line of Dickson Street 120 feet , thence North 250 feet , thence West 160 feet to the East ROW line of College Avenue , thence South along the East ROW of College Avenue to the point of beginning . and , WHEREAS , notice of said public hearing setting forth the time , date , place and purposes of said hearing and location of the property was published in the Northwest Arkansas Times , a newspaper of general circulation in the City , more than fifteen days prior to said public hearing , and WHEREAS , following said public hearing , said Planning Commission certified to the Board of Directors of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , its recommendation that an Ordinance be adopted rezoning the above described property presently zoned R - 0 , Residential Office District to C - 2 , Thoroughfare Commercial District . NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS : DEED 8JS PAGE204 MICROFILMED DATE OCT i REEL I7 (�L 2 Section 1 .
