AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO iA11 :47T(AND( ZONING
DISTRICT MAP OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS , APPROVED JUNft`29' ,,1:970 ,
TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM R - 0 , RESIDENTIALAL '- ' E'jbttRICT

TO R - 2 , MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT .
WHEREAS , a public hearing was held before the Planning
Commission of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas on July 6 ,
1971 , on a petition by the Planning Commission requesting that
the Board of Directors enact an ordinance rezoning the following
described property presently zoned R - 0 , Residential Office
District to R - 1 , Low Density Residential District .
Beginning at the NW corner of Lot Ten ( 10 ) , Block 19 , Park
Village Addition which is a point located on the East ROW
line of Park Avenue , thence North along the East ROW line
of Park Avenue to the point where the East ROW line of
Park Avenue intersects with the South ROW line of Prospect
Street , thence East in a Northeasterly direction along the
South ROW line of Prospect Street to the point where the
South ROW line of Prospect Street intersects with the West
ROW line of North - South portion of alley between Block 17
and Block 18 in Park Village Addition , thence South in a
Southwesterly direction along the West line of alley to the
Southeast corner of Lot 1 , Block 18 in Park Village Addition ,
thence Westerly along the South line of Lots 1 , 2 , 3 and
part of Lot 4 , of Block 18 in Park Village Addition to
a point on Lot 4 which is due North of the West ROW line
of Lollar Lane , thence South to. the Southeast corner of
Lot 6 of Block 19 in Park Village Addition , thence West
along South line of Lot 6 to the Southwest corner of
Lot 6 , thence South in a Southwesterly direction along
the South line of Lot 7 of Block 18 in Park Village
Addition to the Northeast corner of Lot 10 of Block 19
in Park Village Addition , thence West along the North line
of Lot 10 of Block 19 in Park Village Addition to the
point of beginning .
and ,
WHEREAS , notice of said public hearing setting forth the
time , date , place and purposes of said hearing and location of
the property was published in the Northwest Arkansas Times , a
newspaper of general circulation in the City , more than fifteen
days prior to said public hearing , and
WHEREAS , following said public hearing , said Planning
Commission certified to the Board of Directors of the City of
Fayetteville , Arkansas , its recommendation that an Ordinance be
adopted rezoning the above described property presently zoned
R - 0 , Residential Office District to R - 2 , Medium Density Residen -
tial District .

NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That the above described property which is
presently zoned R - 0 , Residential Office District be , and the
same hereby is , rezoned to R - 2 , Medium Density Residential
District .
Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage , approval ,
and publication .
