HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 1805 FILED OR RECORD '71 JUL 20 Aft 11 : 53 VIASHlNGTON COUNTY ORDINANCE NO , /F05 ARKANSAS ALMA KOLLMEYER AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO , f1raITAM EFEONING DISTRICT MAP OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS , APPROVED JUNE 29 , 1970 , TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM C - 1 , NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL Q9 DISTRICT , AND R - 1 , LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT TO C - 2 , THOROUGHFARE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT , WHEREAS , a public hearing was held before the Planning �y Commission of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , on July 6 , 1971 on a petition by Darrell Stanberry requesting that said Planning Commission recommend to the Board of Directors of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , that the Board of Directors enact an ordinance rezoning the following described property presently zoned C - 1 , Neighborhood Commercial District , and R - 1 , low Density Residential District to C - 2 , Thoroughfare Commercial District . A tract of land situated in a part of the NE 1 / 4 of the NW 1 / 4 of Section 23 , T - 16 , N , of R - 30 - W of the 5th P . M . , more particularly described as follows : Beginning at a point 323 . 8 feet South of the NW corner of the said NE 1 / 4 of the NW 1 / 4 of above described Section 23 , thence South 68 ° 08 ' East 220 feet , thence South 70 ° 10 ' East 225 feet , thence South 76 ° 43 ' East 214 feet , thence South 1 ° 08 ' East 700 feet , thence North 890 West 325 feet , thence North 45 ° West 475 feet , more or less , to a point 550 feet South of the point of beginning , thence North 550 feet to the point of beginning , and containing 9 . 5 acres , more or less . and , WHEREAS , notice of said public hearing setting forth the time , date , place and purposes of said hearing and location of the property was published in the Northwest Arkansas Times , a newspaper of general circulation in the City , more than fifteen days prior to said public hearing , and WHEREAS , following said public hearing , said Planning Commission certified to the Board of Directors of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , its recommendation that an Ordinance be adopted rezoning the above described property presently zoned C - 1 , Neighborhood Commercial District , and R � l Low Density Residential District , to C - 2 , Thoroughfare Commercial District , MICROFILMR DEED 812 PACE 329 DATE1e 2 NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS : Section 1 . That the above described property which is presently zoned C - 1 , Neighborhood Commercial District , and R - 1 , Low Density Residential District be , and the same hereby is , rezoned to C - 2 , Thoroughfare Commercial District , Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage , approval , and publication .
