ORDINANCE NO . I �19� CIRCUIT CLERK
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0 , 1747 AND ZONING
DISTRICT MAP OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS , APPROVED JUNE 29 , 1970 ,
TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM R - 1 LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL
DISTRICT , TO R - 2 , MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT .
WHEREAS , a public hearing was held before the Planning
Commission of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , on April 6 , 1971
on a petition by Shanandoah Mobile Home Park , Inc . requesting
that said planning Commission recommend to the Board of Directors
of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , that the Board of Directors
enact an ordinance rezoning the following described property
presently zoned R - 1 , Low Density Residential District , to R - 2 ,
Medium Density residential District , to - wit :
A part of the South Half of the Southeast Quarter of the
Northeast Quarter ( S/ 2 - SE / 4 - NE/ 4 ) of Section 22 , T - 16 - N ,
R - 30 - W , being more particularly described as follows , to - wit :
Beginning at a point 60 ' North of the SE corner of said 20
acre tract and running thence North 600 feet ; thence West
796 feet ; thence South 608 . 80 feet more or less to the North
right - of - way of Highway 16 By - pass ; thence along the North
right - of - way of said Highway , N - 89 ° 22 ' E , 796 feet more or
less to the point of beginning and containing in all 11 . 045
acres more or less .

WHEREAS , n6tice of said public hearing setting forth the time ,
date , place and purposes of said hearing and location of the
property was published in the Northwest Arkansas Times , a newspaper
of general circulation in the City , more than fifteen days prior
to said public hearing , and
WHEREAS , following said public hearing , said planning commi -
ssion certified to the Board of Directors of the City of Fayette -
ville , Arkansas , its recommendation that an Ordinance be adopted
rezoning the above described property presently zoned R - 1 , Low
Density Residential District to R - 2 , Medium Density Residential
District .

NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF FATETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 , That the above described property which is
presently zoned R - 1 , Low Density Residential District be , and
the same hereby is , rezoned to R - 2 , Medium Density Residential
District ,
Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage , approval ,
and publication . n '
