AN N ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING FAYETTEVILI;E;MA ISOLLMEYER
STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO, 60 CIRCUIT CLERK
WHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of a majority
in assessed value of the property located within the territory herein-
after described have filed a petition praying that an improvement dis -
trict be established for the purpose hereinafter set out .
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Board
Vof Directors of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, has heard all parties
desiring to be heard, and has ascertained that said petition was signed
by a majority in assessed value of the owners of real property within
said territory :
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of
Directors of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas .
Section 1 . There is hereby established an improvement
district embracing the following described property located in Washington
County, Arkansas , to - wit:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 1
in Block 3 of the Original Town of Fayetteville,
same being the point of intersection of the
South line of Dickson Street and the East line
of a North/ South Alley through said Block 3
and running thence South along the East line
of said Alley to the Southwest corner of Lot 6
in Block Numbered 12 , same being the
intersection of the North line of Meadow
Street and the East line of the North/ South
Alley running through said Block 12, thence
East along the North line of Meadow Street
to the Southeast corner of Lot 7 in Block 14
of said Original Town, same being the point
of intersection of the West line of a North/
South Alley through said Block 14 and the
North line of said Meadow Street, thence North
with the West line of said alley to the Northeast
corner of Lot 4 in said Block, thence West
50 feet, thence North to a point on the South kCROFILMED
line of Spring Street which is 50 feet West of the DgTE�r

North 50 feet to the North line of Spring Street
the same being the South line of Lot 1 in
Block 1 of the Original Town of Fayetteville,
thence West with the South line of said Lot 1 to
a point 95 feet East of the Southwest comer
of said Lot 1 and running thence North 93 feet
and 8 inches; thence East 142 feet to the West
line of a North/ South alley through said Block 1;
thence North with the West line of said Alley
168 feet and 8 inches thence West 87 feet, thence
North 70 feet; thence West 50 feet, thence North
6 feet; thence East 96 feet, thence North 120 . 72
feet to the South line of Dickson Street, the same
being the North line of said Block 1, thence West
with the South line of Dickson Street to the point
of beginning,
for the purpose of (a) removal of existing curb and gutter, (b) excavation
of area from edge of existing pavement to proposed curb line, (c) con-
struction of new concrete curb and gutter joining existing or repairable
sidewalk, (d) installation of 8 " crushed stone compacted base in excavated
area, (e) relocation of all utilities, drainage structure, etc . , affected,
and (f) priming and paving to edge of gutters .
Section 2 . Said district shall be known as Fayetteville Street
Improvement District No . 60 .
Section 3 . The members of the Board of Directors of the
City of Fayetteville, Arkansas are hereby named Commissioners who
shall compose the Board of Improvements for said district .
Section 4. Installment price assessments made by the
district upon property therein shall be paid in ten equal annual installments .
The first annual installment shall be collected by the County Collector
on or before September 1, 1970 . Second and subsequent installments
shall be paid at the time provided by law for paying the first installment
of general taxes on the property .
Section 5 . This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
