HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 1693 ORDINANCE NO . AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF A PORTION OF EAST CENTER STREET TO LIGHTON TRAIL ,' IN THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS . WHEREAS , a hearing was held before the Planning Commission of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , on July 1 , 1969 ,. on the request of Suzanne Lighton , to rename that portion of East Center Street to Lighton Trail , which is described as follows , to - wit : That portion of Center Street extending East from the intersection of Center Street and Fletcher Avenue ap - proximately 1480 feet to the NE corner of lot 14 of Block 2 of Rogers Place Addition , and / or any future extension thereof . WHEREAS , following said hearing , said Planning Commission certified to the Board of Directors of the City of. Fayetteville , its recommendation that an ordinance be adopted renaming a portion of said street as re - quested . NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS : SECTION 1 . That the above described property , which is presently named East Center Street , be and the same hereby is , renamed to be Lighton Trail , SECTION 2 . That all ordinances , or parts of ordinances , in con - flict herewith are hereby repealed , and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage , approval and pub - lication .
