WHEREAS , a public hearing was held before the Planning Commission of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , on June 17 , 1969 , on the petition of Bryce Davis and Company , requesting that said Planning Commission recommend to the Board of Dir - ectors of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , that the Board of Directors enact an ordinance rezoning the following des - cribed property presently zoned 0 - 1 , Open Land District to I -. lA , Light Industrial District , to - wit : Part of the North half of the Northeast Quarter of Section 33 , Township 17 North , Range 30 West described as follows : Beginning 165 feet East of the Northwest corner Ne Ne of section 30 and running thence South 417 . 74 feet , thence West 819 . 76 feet , then 417 . 74 feet North , thence East 819 . 76 feet to the place of beginning , 7 . 83 acres more or less , less that part within the right of way of highway 112 and east of it in the Northeast corner . and , WHEREAS , notice of said public hearing , setting forth the date , time , and place and purposes of said hearing and location of the property was published in the Northwest Arkansas Times , a news - paper of general circulation in said city , more than 15 days prior to said public hearing , and WHEREAS , following said public hearing , said Planning Com - mission certified to the Board of Directors of the City of Fay - etteville . - its recommendation that an ordinance be adopted re - zoning the above described property , presently zoned 0 - 1 , Open Land District to I - lA , Light Industrial District .
