WHEREAS , a public hearing was held before the Planning Commission of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , on June 17 , 1969 , on the petition of Irvin S . Fitzgerald , requesting that said Planning Commission recommend to the Board of Directors of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , that the Board of Dir - ectors enact an ordinance rezoning the following described property presently zoned A - 1 , Annexed Territory District to R - 2 , Two Family Residential District , to - wit : A part of the East half of the West half of Section thirty - six ( 36 ) in Township seventeen ( 17 ) North of Range thirty ( 30 ) West , being more particularly described as beginning at a point on the West Side of the public road which is 154 and eight tenths ( 1 .54 . 8 ) feet West and North 15 degrees . 20 ' West Ninety Six ( 96 ) feet from the center of said section 36 , and running , thence along the West side of said road South 15 degrees 20 ' . East Two hundred twenty three ( 223 ) feet , thence South 28 Degrees 45 ' . West 138 and five tenths ( 138 . 5 ) feet to the Northeast corner of land sold to Grace Baptist Church thence West with the North line of said tract North 75 Degrees 50 ' . West Six Hundred Eight ( 608 ) feet to the West line of Old Wire Road as previously located , thence with said road North 11 degrees 44 ' .
