Cox , requesting that said Planning Commission recommend to the ' -Board of Directors of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , that the Board of Directors enact an ordinance rezoning the following described property , presently zoned A - 1 , Annexed Territory District , to R - 1A , Single Family Residential District , to - wit : Part of the North half of the Southeast quarter of Section thirty six ( 36 ) in Township seventeen ( 17 ) North of Range Thirty ( 30 ) West , described as follows : Beginning at a point in the centerline of the Old Wire Road which is eighty - five ( 85 ) feet East of the center of the North sidg of said eighty ( 80 ) acre tract , and running , thence South 13 20 ' East eight huBdred twenty nine and six = tenths ( 829 . 6 ) feet ; thence South 59 35 ' West two hundred twenty nine and two hundredths ( 229 . 02 ) feet ; thence North 13020 ' West five hundred eighty and four hundredths ( 580 . 14 ) feet to the center - line . of said road ; thence Northeasterl with said road to the point of beginning , contain - ing three ( 3� acres , more or less . and WHEREAS , notice of said public hearing setting forth the date , time , place and purposes of said hearing and location of the property was published in the Northwest Arkansas Times , a newspaper of general circulation in said City , more than 15 days prior to said public hearing , and WHEREAS , following said public hearing , said Planning Commission certified to the Board of Directors of the City of Fayetteville , its recommendation that an ordinance be adopted rezoning the above - described property , presently zoned A - 1 , Annexed Territory District , to R - lA , Single Family Residential District . NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS : SECTION 1 . That the above - described property , which is presently zoned A - 1 , Annexed . Territory District , be and the same hereby is rezoned to R - IA , .Single Family Residential District . SECTION 2 .
