AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING TERRITORY ANNEXED TO THE CATMA`f�U1 �;T�pTTE-
VILLE , ARKANSAS , ASSIGNING SAID TERRITORY TO WARDS �Ijx �i1OTHER
PURPOSES .
WHEREAS , the County Court of Washington County , Arkansas ,
did on March 17 , 1969 , make an order annexing the following
described territory to the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , to-wit :
A part of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4 ) of the
Northeast Quarter ( NE 1/ 4 ) of Section 20 , Town-
ship 16 North , Range 29 West of the 5th P . M „
County of Washington , State of Arkansas , and
being more particularly described as follows ,
to-wit : Beginning at a point on the North
line of said forty acre tract at a distance
of 230 feet East of the Northwest corner of
said Northeast Quarter ( NE 1/ 4 ) of the North-
east Quarter ( NE 1/ 4 ) , thence South 660 feet ,
thence East 1090 feet to the East line of said
forty acre tract , thence North 260 34 ' West ,
737 . 90 feet , to a point which is 330 feet
west of the Northeast corner of said Northeast
Quarter ( NE 1/4 ) of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4 )
of said Section 20 , thence along the North line
of said forty acre tract West , 760 feet , more or
less to the point of beginning , containing in
all 14 . 015 acres ,
WHEREAS , the County Clerk of Washington County , Arkansas
has forwarded a transcript of said proceedings to the Board of
Directors of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , and
WHEREAS , more than thirty days have elapsed since the
date of said order and no proceeding has been instituted in -.
the Circuit Court to prevent said annexation and no notice thereof
has been given as required by law .
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . That the annexation of the above -described
territory to the corporate limits of the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas , be and the same is hereby accepted , and all of said
territory is hereby assigned to and made a part of Ward of
the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas .

SECTION 2 . This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage , approval and publication .
