289 19629 AS AMENDED , TO REZONE CERTAIN REAL ESTATE FROM
A - 1 , ANNEXED TERRITORY DISTRICT AND I - 29 HEAVY-j=' I•NDUSTRIAL DISTRICT ,
TO C - 29 THOROUGHFARE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT .
WHEREAS , a public hearing was held before the Planning
Commission of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas on January
21st , 1969 , on the petition of J . R . Hatfield and Catherine
Hatfield , requesting that said Planning Commission recommend to
the Board of Directors of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas ,
that the B oard of Directors enact an ordinance rezoning the
following described property , presently zoned A - 1 , Annexed
Territory District and I - 2 , Heavy Industrial District to
C - 2 , Thoroughfare Commercial District , to - wit :
Part of the East half ( E 1 / 2 ) of the Southwest Quarter of
Section 7 and part of the Northwest Quarter of Section
Eighteen ( 18 ) , all in Township Sixteen ( 16 ) North of
Range Thirty ( 30 ) West , described as follows , to - wit ;
Beginning at a point 60 feet South and 2264 . 81 feet East of
the Southwest corner of Section 7 , thence North 1 degree
31 minutes West 2701 . 3 feet , thence North 89 degrees 14
minutes East 988 . 0 feet to the East line of said East half of
the Southwest quarter of Section 7 , thence South 351 . 4 feet ,
thence South 14 degrees 46 minutes West 301 . 4 feet , thence
South 5 degrees 14 minutes West 316 . 3 feet , thence South
10 degrees 16 minutes West 624 . 2 feet , thence South 10
degrees 41 minutes West 207 . 3 feet , thence South 2 degrees
02 minutes West 414 . 1 feet , thence South 1 degree 07
minutes East 502 . 2 feet , thence South 89 degrees 14 . 0 minutes
West 720 feet , more or less , to the point of beginning .

WHEREAS , notice of said public hearing , setting forth the
date , time , place and purposes of said hearing and location of
the property was published in We Northwest Arkansas Times , a
newspaper of general circulation in said City , more than 15
days prior to said public hearing , and
WHEREAS , following said public hearing , said Planning
Commission certified to the Board of Directors of the City of
Fayetteville , its recommendation that an ordinance be adopted
rezoning the above - described property , presently zoned A - 1 ,
Annexed Territory District and I - 2 , Heavy Industrial District ,
to C - 2 , Thoroughfare Commercial District ,

NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . That the above - described property , which is
presently zoned A - 1 , Annexed Territory District and I - 2 ,
Heavy Industrial District , be and the same hereby is rezoned
to C - 2 , Thoroughfare Commercial District .
SECTION 2 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed , and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage , approval
and publication .
