WHEREAS , a public hearing was held before the Planning Commission of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas on January 21st , 1969 , on the petition of Lonnie Gragg and Richard Gragg , requesting that said Planning Commission recommend to the Board of Directors of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , that the Board of Directors enact an ordin - ance rezoning the following described property presently zoned R - 2 , Two Family residential District to R - 3 , Multi - Family Residential pjstrict , to - wit : N Lots 6 and 7 and 60 feet of equal and uniform width off the North side of Lot 5 in Block 2 of Gragg Addition to the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas . WHEREAS , notice of siad public hearing , setting forth the date , oxime , place and purposes of said hearing and location of the proper - ty was published in the Northwest Arkansas Times , a newspaper of general circulation in said city , more than 15 days prior to said public hearing , and WHEREAS , following said public hearing , said Planning Commission certified to the Board of Directors of the City of Fayetteville , its recommendation that an ordinance be adopted rezoning the above - describ - ed property , presently zoned R - 2 , Two Family Residential District to R - 3 , Multi - Family Residential District . NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS : SECTION 1 .
