REZONE CERTAIN REAL ESTATE FROM A- 1 ANNEXED TERRITORY DI 'lRC�TTERK
R- lA , SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT . Glhu
WHEREAS , a public hearing was held before the Planning Com-
mission of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas on Tuesday , November
21 , 1967 , on the petition of Whickerbill , Incorporated , requesting
that said Planning Commission recommend to the Board of Directors of
the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , that the Board of Directors enact
an ordinance rezoning the following described property , presently
zoned A- 1 Annexed Territory District to R- lA Single Family Residential
District , to-wit :
A parcel of land lying in the South 1/2 of the North-
west Quarter (NW 1/4 ) , Southwest Quarter ( SW 1/4 )
of the Northeast Quarter ( NE 1/4 ) , Northwest half
of the Southeast Quarter ( SE 1/4 ) of Section Twelve
( 12 ) , Township 16 North , Range 30 West , being more
particularly described as follows : Beginning at a
point S 89 ° 26 ' E 1000 . 02 feet from the Northwest
corner , Southwest Quarter ( SW 1/4 ) , Northwest Quarter
( NW 1/4 ) , Section Twelve ( 12 ) , Township 16 North ,
Range 30 West , thence S 89026 ' E 1640 feet ; thence
S 009 ' W 480 feet ; thence S 89026 ' E 450 feet ;
thence S 0 ° 9 ' W 2140 feet ; thence N 89026 ' W 450
feet ; thence N 009 ' E 1290 feet ; thence N 89026 '
W 1640 feet ; thence n 009 ' E 1330 feet to the point
of beginning .

WHEREAS , notice of said public hearing , setting forth the
date , time , place and purposes of said hearing and location of property
was published in the Northwest Arkansas Times , a newspaper of general
circulation in said City , more than 15 days prior to said public "
hearing , and
WHEREAS , following said public hearing , said Planning Com-
mission certified to the Board of Directors of the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas , its recommendation that an ordinance be adopted rezoning the
above -described property , presently zoned A- 1 , Annexed Territory Dis -
trict to R- lA , Single Family Residential District . '
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . That the above- described . property , which is pre-
sently zoned A- 1 Annexed Territory . District , be and the same is hereby
rezoned to R- lA Single Family Residential District'.
