�? AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO . 1239 AND REVISED ZONING
DISTRICT MAP OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS , APPROVED MAY 28 , 1962 , AS
AMENDED , TO REZONE CERTAIN REAL ESTATE FROM R -3 MULTI -FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT TO . 0 -1 NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL DISTRICT .
WHEREAS , a public hearing was held before the Planning
Commission of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , on October 10 ,
1967 , on the petition of Skull Creek Development Company , Incorporated ,
requesting that said Planning Commission recommend to the Board of
Directors of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , that the Board of
Directors enact an ordinance rezoning the following described
territory , presently zoned R-3 Multi -Family Residential District ,
to C -1 Neighborhood Commercial District , to -wit :
�- TRACT A : A part of the Northeast Quarter ( NE 1/4 )

Quarter ( SW 1/ 4 ) of Section Nine
cvi = ( 6) in Township Sixteen ( 16 ) North , of Range Thirty
West of the 5th Principal Meridian , more par-
e m larly described as follows , to-wit : Beginning at
T :a ,point which is six hundred sixty ( 660 ) feet South
the Northwest corner of said forty acre tract , and
LU ing , thence South Eighty ( 80 ) feet ; thence East
c QriL hundred sixty ( 160 ) feet ; thence North Eighty
( 80 ) feet ; thence West one hundred sixty ( 160 ) feet
to the place of beginning , and being situated in the
City of Fayetteville , Arkansas .
TRACT B : A part of the Northeast Quarter ( NE 1/4 )
of Section Nine ( 9 ) , in Township Sixteen ( 16 ) North ,
of Range Thirty ( 30 ) West of the 5th Principal Meridian
more particularly described as follows , to -wit : Beginning
at a point which is seven hundred forty ( 740 ) feet
South of the Northwest corner of the.. siid forty acre
tract , and running thence South sixty ( 60 ) feet ;
thence East one hundred sixty ( 160 ) feet ; thence
North sixty ( 60 ) feet ; thence West one hundred sixty
( 160 ) feet to the place of beginning , and being sit-
uated in the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas ,
and
WHEREAS , notice of said public hearing , setting forth the
date , time , place and purposes of said hearing and location of
the property was published in the Northwest Arkansas Times , a
newspaper of general circulation in said city , more than 15 days
prior to said public hearing , and
WHEREAS , following said public hearing , said Planning
Commission certified to the Board of Directors of the City of Fayette -
ville , Arkansas , its" recommendation that an ordinance be adopted
rezoning the above -described territory , presently zoned R- 3 Multi-
Family Residential District , to C -1 Neighborhood Commercial District .

NOW , THEREFORE , BE PT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 : That the above -described property , presently
zoned R-3 Multi -Family Residential District , be and the same is
hereby rezoned to C -1 Neighborhood Commercial District ,
SECTION 2 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed , and this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and after its passage , approval and
publication . /
