WHEREAS , a public hearing was held before Vhe' rRIa4 �tii�gR
Commission of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , onC1Yao' )5 � �r10 ,
1967 , on the petition of Bethel Heights Baptist Church , requesting
that said Planning Commission recommend to the Board of Directors
of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , that the Board of Directors
enact an ordinance rezoning the following described property ;
presently zoned R-1B •Single Family Residential District , to P -1A
Special Church District , to-wit :
A part of the SE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 8 , Town -
ship 16 North , Range 30 West , Described as follows :
Beginning at a point 431 . 4 feet West and 759 feet
South of the Northeast corner of said 40 acre tract ,
said point being the Southwest corner of Lot 10
of McCormick Addition to the City of Fayettev Ule_,.
and running , thence North 160 - feet to the South, 1i3te
of a 40 . foot street ( James Street) ; thence`=FFest= ZI
along the South line of said street 180 feettxthence

WHEREAS , notide of said public hearing , setting . forth the
date , time , place and purposes of said hearing and location of
the property was published in the Northwest Arkansas Times , a news -
paper of general circulation in said City , more than 15 days prior
to said public hearing , and
WHEREAS , following said public hearing , said Planning
Commission certified to the Board of Directors of the City of
Fayetteville , Arkansas , its recommendation that an ordinance be
adopted rezoning the above -described property , presently zoned
R -1B Single Family Residential District , to P -lA Special Church
District ,
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . That the abovemdescribed property , presently
zoned R-1B Single Family Residential District , be and the same is
hereby rezoned to P -lA Special Church District ,
