J� � J / / 2: 45 'r, - 9 AIIG '67 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING TERRITORY ANNEXED TO THE CITY 40 k ` UNTY VILLE , ARKANSAS ; ASSIGNING SAID TERRITORY TO WARDS , MM�LLNEYER OTHER PURPOSES , CIRCUIT CLERK WHEREAS , the County Court of Washington County , Arkansas , did on June 26 , 1967 , make an order annexing the following described territory to the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , to -wit : Part of the Southwest Quarter ( SW 1/4 ) of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4 ) of Section Twenty ( 20 ) in Township Sixteen ( 16 ) North of Range Twenty - nine. ( 29 ) West , described as beginning at a point on the East side of the County Road , which - runs along the West side of said forty acre tract , , three hundred ( 300 ) feet North of the point of intersection of the East line of said road and the North line of said State Highway No . 16 near the Southwest corner of said forty acre tract , and running , thence North with the East line of said County Road five hundred fifty ( 550 ) feet ; thence East two hundred ( 200 ) feet ; thence South five hundred fifty ( 550 ) feet , more or less , to the North line of a tract conveyed to William K . Harris ; thence West with the North line of said tract two hundred ( 200 ) feet , more or less to the place of beginning , containing three ( 3 ) acres more or less . and , WHEREAS , the County Clerk of Washington County , Arkansas , has forwarded a transcript of said proceedings to the Board of Directors of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , and WHEREAS , more than thirty days have elapsed since the date of said order and no proceeding has been instituted in the Circuit Court to prevent said annexation and no notice thereof has been given as required by law . NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS : Section 1 .
