WHEREAS , a public hearing was held before the Planning Com- mission of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , on May 9 , 1967 , on the petition of Kenneth E . McKee , Emma G . McKee , Laura Jane Jinske , Zora Lee Thomas , and Mary Carolyn Thomas , requesting that said Planning Commission recommend to the Board of Directors of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , that the Board of Directors enact an ordinance rezoning the following described property , presently zoned A- 1 Annexed Territory District , to R- 3 Multi-Family Resident- ial District , to-wit : Lots Seven ( 7 ) through Twelve ( 12 ) inclusive , in Block Three ( 3 ) of Parker ' s Plat of Valley View Acres Addition , as per plat on file in the office of the Circuit Clerk and Ex- Officio Recorder for Washington County , Arkansas , ALSO , Lots One ( 1 ) through Ten ( 10 ) inclusive , in Block Two ( 2 ) and Lots One ( 1 ) through Six ( 6 ) inclusive , in Block Three ( 3 ) , of Parker ' s Plat of Valley View Acres Addition , as per plat on file in the office of the Circuit Clerk and Ex-Officio Recorder for Washington County , Arkansas . ALSO , Lots Three ( 3 ) and the North half ( N 1/2 ) of Lot Six ( 6 ) in Evins Farm Addition , an Addition to the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , containing in aggregate 39 . 2 acres . and , WHEREAS , notice of said public hearing , setting forth the date , time , place and purposes of said hearing and location of the property was published in the Northwest Arkansas Times , a newspaper of general circulation in said city , more than 15 days prior to said public hearing , and WHEREAS , following said public hearing , said Planning Com- mission certified to the Board of Directors of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , its recommendation that an ordinance be adopted rezoning the above-described property , presently zoned A- 1 Annexed Territory District , to R- 3 Multi - Family Residential District .
