WHEREAS, on January 30, 1967, the County Court of WashingtonC gVfft§LERK
Arkansas, entered an order annexing the following described territory to the
City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, to - wit :
Lots Seven (7) through Twelve (12) inclusive, in Block Three (3)
of Parker' s Plat of Valley View Acres Addition, as per plat on
file in the office of the Circuit Clerk and Ex- Officio Recorder
for Washington County, Arkansas .
ALSO, Lots One (1 ) through Ten (10) inclusive, in Block Two
(2) and Lots One (1 ) through Six (6) inclusive, in Block Three
( 3), of Parker' s Plat of Valley View Acres Addition, as per plat
on file in the office of the Circuit Clerk and Ex- Officio Recorder
for Washington County, Arkansas .
ALSO, Lots Three (3) and the North half (N 1 / 2) of Lot Six (6)
in Evins Farm Addition, an Addition to the City of Fayetteville,
Arkansas .
Containing in aggregate J0. 2 acres .
and,
WHEREAS, more than thirty (30) days have elapsed since the date of said
order of annexation and no proceedings have been instituted in the Circuit
Court to prevent said annexation, and no notice of appeal has been filed; and,
WHEREAS, on March 6, 1967, the County Court of Washington County,
Arkansas, entered an order confirming such annexation proceedings .
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . That annexation of the above described territory to the
corporate limits of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, be and the same is
hereby accepted and all of said territory' is hereby assigned to and made a
part of Ward of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas .
SECTION 2 . That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication .

ARKANSAS TIMES, a daily newspaper having a second class mailing pri-
vilege, and being not less than four pages of five columns each, published
at a fixed place of business and at a fixed (daily) intervals continuously in
the City of Fayetteville, County of Washington, Arkansas, for more than
a period of twelve months, circulated and distributed from an established
place of business to subscribers and readers generally of all classes in the
City & County for a definate price for each copy, or a fixed price per
annum, which price was fixed at what is considered the value of the pub-
lication, based upon the news value and service value it contains, that at

lvow on this 30th day of January, 1967, the above entitled cause comes on to be
heard on the petition of Kenneth E . McKee. Emma G. McKee, Laura Jane Jinske, Zara Lee '?
Thomas, and Mary Carolyn Thomas, and the petitioners, appearing by their duly
authorized agents, Wade & McAllister, Attorneys at Law, Fayetteville, Arkansas, and
it appearing to the Court that no exceptions or objections have been filed herein to the

annexation of the territory described in said petition, and from the statements of counsel,
data, snaps, plats, and other evidence, both oral and documentary, introduced in open
court in support of said petition, the Court after du� and careful deliberation, finds:

That petitioners are a majority of the total number of land owners having a

freehold interest in the hereinafter described territory sought to be annexed; that
petitioners own more than one half of the hereinafter described territory sought to be
annexed; and that petitioners are legal residents .of the county in which said territory

and the City of Fayetteville are located.
That said territory is contiguous to and adjoins the City of Fayetteville, Wash -
ington County, Arkansas; and that the limits of said territory are rnore, narticularly
described as follows, to-wit:

Lots Seven (7) through Twelve ( 12) inclusive, in Block Three (3 ), of
Parker' s Plat of Valley Viexv Acres Addition, as per plat on file in the
office of the Circuit Clerk and Ex-Officio Recorder for Washington
County, Arkansas.
TRACT NO, 2
Lots One ( 1 ) through Ten ( 10) inclusive, in Block Two (2), and Lots
One ( 1 ) through Six ( 6 ) inclusive, in Block Three (3), of Parker' s Plat
of Valley View Acres Addition, as per plat on file in the office of the
Circuit Clerk ana Ex-Officio Recorder for Washington County, Arkansas.

That a true and correct plat of said above described territory has been filed with
the Clerk of this Court.
That on the 21st day of December, 1966, this Court entered an Order fixing the
30th day of January, 1967, at 9 : 39 o' clock A. Me in the Circuit Court Room of the
Washington County Court House, in Fayetteville. Arkansas, as the time, place, and
date fixed for hearing on said petition.
That due notice of the time, place and date fixed for hearing upon said petition

was duly published in the Northwest Arkansas Times, a newspaper having a county
wide circulation, in the form and manner and for the time required by law.
That petitioners desire that the above described territory be annexed to and
made a part of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas; that said territory is not unusually

large, is contiguous to and adjoins the present corporate limits of the City of Fayetteville,
Washington County, Arkansas, and is peculiarly adapted for urban purposes; that it is

right and proper that it should be annexed to the City of Fayetteville, Washington County,

Arkansas.

with the annexation of said territory.
IT IS, THEREFORE, CONSIDERED, ORDERED AND ADJUDGED, that the real
estate hereinabove described, and situated in Washington County, Arkansas, and not
presently inside the corporate limits of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, be and
the same is hereby annexedto and made a part of the City of Fayetteville, Ar:tansas.
