WHEREAS , a public hearing was held before the Planning Com- mission of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , on December 13 , 1966 , on the petition of Helen Edmiston and Jere F . Block , re- questing that said Planning Commission recommend to the Board of Directors of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , that the Board of Directors enact an ordinance rezoning the following described property , presently zoned I - lA Light Industrial District , to R- 4 Multi -Family Residential and Dormitory District , to-wit : All of Lot 24 , that part of Lot 25 East of Skull Creek and that part of Lot 23 West of the St Louis San- Francisco Railroad right-of-way , all Lots being in Evans Farm , a subdivision of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas . and WHEREAS , notice of said public hearing , setting forth the date , time , place and purposes of said hearing and location of property was published in the Northwest Arkansas Times , a news- paper of general circulation in said City , more than 15 days prior to said public hearing , and WHEREAS , following said public hearing , said Planning Com- mission certified to the Board of Directors of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , its recommendation that an ordinance be adopted rezoning the above -described property presently zoned I -lA Light Industrial District to R- 4 Multi -Family Residential \ and Dormitory District .
