WHEREAS , the County Court of Washington County, Arkansas ,
did on the 4th day of April 1966 enter an order annexing the fol-
lowing described territory to the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas ,
to-wit :
The following described lands all lying within Section
12 , Township 16 North , Range 30 West of the 5th Princi-
pal Meridian , and situated in Washington County , Arkansas :
Beginning at a point 1000 feet east of the Southwest
corner of the Southwest Quarter ( SW 1/4 ) of the Northwest
Quarter (NW 1/4 ) of said Section 12 ( said beginning
point being further described as the Southeast corner
of the John Smythe Addition to the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas ) ; running thence North along the East boundary
line of said John Smyth Addition 1320 feet , more or less
to the North line of the Southwest Quarter ( SW 1/4 ) of
the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4 ) of Section 12 ; thence
East 1640 feet , more or less , to the Southwest corner
of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4 ) of the Northeast
Quarter (NE 1/4 ) of Section 12 ; thence North 445 feet ,
more or less , to the North line of a road running in a
Northwesterly to Southeasterly direction ; thence along
the North line of said road at a bearing of South 810
40 ' East to a point which is 450 feet East of the West
line of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4 ) of the Northeast
Quarter ( NE 1/4 ) of Section 12 ; thence South on a line
parallel to and 450 feet East of the West line of the
East Half (E 1/2 ) of Section 12 to the South line of the
Northwest Quarter ( NW 1/4 ) of the Southeast Quarter
( SE 1/4 ) of Section 12 ; thence West 450 feet , more or
less , to the Southwest corner of the Northwest Quarter
(NW 1/4 ) of the Southeast Quarter ( SE 1/4 ) of Section
12 ; thence North 1320 feet , more or less , to theSouth-
east corner of the Southeast Quarter ( SE 1/ 4 ) of the
Northwest Quarter ( NW 1/4 ) of Section 12 ; thence. West
1640 feet , more or less , to the point of beginning ,
containing in aggregate 81 . 7 acres .
and
WHEREAS , the County Clerk of Washington County , Arkansas ,
has forwarded a transcript of said proceedings to the Board of
Directors of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , and

WHEREAS , more than thirty days have elapsed since the date
of said order , and no proceeding has been instituted in the Cir-
cuit Court to prevent said annexation , and no notice thereof has
been given as required by law, and the County Court has confirmed
said annexation by order dated May 25 , 1966 .
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . That annexation of the above -described territory
to the corporate limits of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , be
