Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance 1493 BOOK 677 PA ,E ORDINANCE NO , 1493 1466 p AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO , 1239 , AND REV RL4 Z7"NGy DISTRICT MAP OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS, APPROVED I SNI N1962 , TO ADD TO SAID ZONING DISTRICT MAP CERTAIN PROPERTY RECENT LS ANgEC�DTr'ORKHE CITY ALONG HIGHWAY 16 EAST , C1RCUr1- CLeNEI_L RK WHEREAS , since the adoption of a revised zoning district map by Ordinance No . 1302 , on May 28 , 1962 , certain property along Highway 16 East has been annexed to the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , by Ordinance No . 1458 of September 7 , 1965 , and WHEREAS , an amendment to said revised zoning district map, in form of a zoning district map of the area recently e.nne;:ed , has been prepared and reflects all zoning districts in the recently annexed area , and WHEREAS , a public hearing was held on said newly prepared map before the Planning Commission of the City of Fayetteville on March 1 , 1966 , 15 days after filing said map in the office of the City Clerk and 15 dF.ys after a notice of said hearing was published in the Northwest Arkansas Times , a newspaper of general circulation in t':e City-, and WHEREAS , following said public hearing the Planning Commission certified to the Board of Directors its recommendation that said map , dated March 1 , 1966 , be aopted , and that the property shown thereon be zoned accordingly . NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS : SECTION 1 . That Zoning Ordinance No . 1239 , a. _L:::e Rc.•ised Zoning District Map adopted May 28 , 1962 , by Ordinance No . 1302 , be and the same are hereby amended to add thereto the zoning district map dated March 1 , 1966 , and the property shown therein is hereby zoned as shown on said map . SECTION 2 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinance in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public peace , health , safety and welfare of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , an emergency is hereby declared to exist , and this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage .
