WHEREAS , a public hearing was held before the Planning Com- mission of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , on February 15 ; 1966 , on the petition of Donald Williams and Bill Bequette , re- questing that said Planning Commission recommend to the Board of Directors of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , that the Board of Directors enact an ordinance rezoning the following described property , presently zoned R-2 Two Family Residential District , to R- 3 Multi -Family Residential District , to wit : Lots Five ( 5 ) , Six ( 6 ) and Seven ( 7 ) of Block Two ( 2 ) in Wilson-Dunn Addition to the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas . and , WHEREAS , notice of said public hearing , setting forth the date , time , place and purposes of said hearing and location of property was published in the Northwest Arkansas Times , a news - paper of general circulation in said City , more than 15 days prior to said public hearing , and WHEREAS , following said public hearing , said Planning Commission certified to the Board of Directors of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , its recommendation that an ordinance be adopted rezoning the above -described property which is presently zoned R- 2 Two Family Residential District , to R- 3 Multi -Family Residential District , NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS : SECTION 1 .
