ORDINANCE NO . 1 4 7 5 F1EER FOR RECORD
AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT AND CONFIRM THE DEDICATION OF CERTAIN LAND
FOR THE PURPOSE OF A PUBLIC STREET IN THE CITY OF FAYE •T V LE ,
ARKANSAS , 1965 DEC 2Z 1 f'I
WHEREAS , there has been duly presented to the CityWAWANA 0&APEyt�RI Fayetteville ,
Arkansas , a warranty deed from Bill House and Olga HourmLrO'yplgrjt� Rt wife , and Tony
Latrechia and Bernice Latrechia , husband and wife , dated Iret'2'Aer 1965 , wherein
the grantors grant , bargain and well unto the City of Fayetteville , its successors and
assigns , the following described tract of lands situated in Washington County , Arkansas .
A part of the Fractional East Half ( Frl . E 1 / 2) of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1 / 4)
of Section 3 , Township 16 North , Range 30 West , being more particularly described
as follows , to -wit : Beginning at a point which is 236 . 78 feet East and 20 feet
South of the Northwest corner of the above - mentioned quarter section; thence
South 155 feet; thence 30 . 8 feet East; thence 81 . 1 feet South ; thence West approxi -
mately 38 . 5 feet to a point 229 . 3 feet East and 256 . 09 feet South of the North-
west corner of said quarter section; thence North Oo 25 ' West 236 . 1 feet; thence
9 . 2 feet East to the point of beginning . And in addition , all that land not included
in the above description which is within a circle having a radius of 40 feet from
its center point which is located 229 . 3 feet East and 256 . 09 feet South of the
Northwest corner of said quarter section.

vVHEREAS , there has been duly presented to the City Council of the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas , a warranty deed from James Doyle Shelton and Welma Doris Shelton, his wife ,
dated December 17 , 1965 , wherein the grantors grant , bargain and sell unto the City of
Fayetteville , its successors and assigns , the following described land situated in
Washington County , Arkansas , to-wit :
A part of the Fractional East One - half ( Frl . E 1 / 2 ) of the Northwest Quarter
(NW 1 / 4) of Section 3 , Township 16 North , Range 30 West and being more
particularly described as follows : Beginning at a point which is 236 . 78 feet
East and 20 feet South of the Northwest corner of the above mentioned eighty;
thence East 30 . 8 feet ; thence South 155 feet; thence West 30 . 8 feet ; thence
North 155 feet to the point of beginning .
and
WHEREAS , the Planning Commission of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , recommded
the acceptance of the above described lands for the purpose of a public street in the
City of Fayetteville , Arkansas .
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS:

Ordinance No . 1475 - 2 - December 20 , 1965
SECTION 1 . That the City of Fayetteville . Arkansas , hereby accepts and confirms
the dedication and grant of the above - described land , and hereby declares said land to
be a public street , and the said City Council hereby assumes the care , control and
jurisdiction of same .
SECTION 2 . That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage , approval and publication .
PASSED AND APPROVED this 20th day of December , 1965 .
