AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1414 , AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE
NO. 1423 , PROHIBITING THE PARKING OF VEHICLES ON CERTAIN DESIGNATED
STREETS IN THE CITY OF FAYE'TTEVILLE , - ARKANSAS , AND PROVIDING A

_' NALTY FOR VIOLATIONS 'THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE ,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION I . That Ordinance No . 1414 , as amended by Ordinance No . 1423 ,
be further amended to read as follows :
"SECTION 1 . It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to
park a -vehicle of any kind whatsoever on either side of the pavement of the
following designated streets in the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas :
Maple from Mission to Arkansas Avenue
Gregg from Douglas to Dickson
University from Williams to Dickson
Douglas from Leverett to Gregg ( Only on the North side )
Beginning at the intersection of School Street and Sixth Street , proceeding
thence East to Locust; thence South on Locust to Seventh Street; thence
East on Seventh Street to Wood Street and from Wood Street North to
Highway 16 East
Twenty- Fourth Street ( Country Club Road)
Hill Avenue from Center Street to Highway No , 62
Center Street from Church Avenue to Harmon Avenue
California Boulevard from Harmon Avenue to LeRoy Pond Drive
Leverett Avenue from Maple Street to Sycamore Street
Putman S'_= eet from Hill Avenue to Duncan Street ,
SECTION 2 . During the hours from 8 : 00 a . m . to 6 :00 p . m . , it shall be unlawful
for any person , firm or corporation to park a vehicle of any kind whatsoever
on either side of the pavement of the following designated streets in the City
of Fayetteville , Arkansas :
Meadow from Church to Block
Spring from Church to College
SECTION 3 . Any person , firm or corporation violating the provisions of
this Ordinance shall be e ^ snned guilty of a misdemeanor and , upon conviction
thereof, shall be fined in a sum of not more than $25 . 00 for each offense . "
SECTION H . It appearing that the above - named streets are congented by reason of
heavy traffic , and it being necessary for the protection of the public health and safety ,
an emergency is hereby declared to exist , and this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval .
