REAL ESTATE FROM I-2 HEAVY INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT TO C- 2 �toi OdG$r
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT ; AND TO REPEAL ORDINANCE NO . 1452 OF JULY 6 , 1965 .
WHEREAS , a public hearing was held before the Planning Commission
of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , on June 22 , 1965 , on the petition
of Leo P . Peel requesting that said Planning Commission recommend to
the City Council of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , that the City
Council enact an Ordinance rezoning the following described property ,
which is presently zoned I- 2 Heavy Industrial District and R- 1B Single
Family Residential District , to-wit :
Part of the Southwest Quarter ( SW h) of the Southeast
Quarter (SE h) of Section 21 in Township 16 North , Range
30 West , being more particularly described as follows, to-wit :
Beginning at the Southwest corner of said 40 acre tract and
running thence West 18 feet ; thence North 5 degrees East
540 feet ; thence East 504 feet; thence South 9 degrees 30
minutes West 216 . 5 feet ; thence North 86 degrees 47 minutes
West 385 . 5 feet ; thence South 345 feet ; thence West 110 feet
to the point of beginning .
from I-2 Heavy Industrial District and R-1B Single Family Residential
District to C-2 Thoroughfare Commercial District , and
WHEREAS , notice of said public hearing , setting forth the date ,
time , place and purpose of hearing , and location of the property was
published in the Northwest Arkansas Times , a newspaper of general
circulation in said City , more than 15 days prior to said public hearing ,
and
WHEREAS , following said public hearing said Planning Commission
certified to the City Council of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas ,
its recommendation that the portion of the above-described property
presently zoned R-1B Single Family Residential District remain as
zoned , and that the portion of the above-described property presently
zoned I - 2 Heavy Industrial District be rezoned to C- 2 Thoroughfare
Commercial District .
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . That the portion of the above-described property
which is presently zoned I- 2 Heavy Industrial District be and the same
is hereby rezoned to C-2 Thoroughfare Commercial District .

SECTION 2 . That Ordinance No . 1452 of July 6 , 1965 , and all
Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
