TO I - 1B LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT . ! ERF;
WHEREAS , a public hearing was held before the Planning Commission
of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , on June 22 , 1965 , on the
petition of Jack Hight and Bob Stout requesting that said Planning
Commission recommend to the City Council of the City of Fa tteville ,
Arkansas , that the City Council enact an ordinance rezoninfollowing
described property , which is presently zoned C - 2 Thoroughfare Commercial
District , to-wit :
Part of the West Half ( W 1/ 2 ) of the Northwest Quarter
( NW 1/ 4 ) of the Northeast Quarter ( NE 1/ 4 ) of Section 20 ,
Township 16 North , Range 30 West and more particularly
described as follows : Beginning at tie Northwest corner
of said forty acre tract thence East ;340 feet , more or less ;
thence South 109 feet , more or less , to the North line of
the St . Louis - San Francisco Railroad right of way ; thence
Westerly along said right of way to a point which is 132
feet , more or less , South of the Northwest corner of said
forty acre tract .
from C - 2 Thoroughfare Commercial District to I - 1B Light Industrial
District , and
WHEREAS , notice of said public hearing , setting forth the date ,
time , place and purpose of hearing , and location of the property was
published in the Northwest Arkansas Times , a newspaper of general circu-
lation in said City , more than 15 days prior to said public hearing , and
WHEREAS , following said public hearing said Planning Commission
certified to the City Council of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas ,
its recommendation that an ordinance be adopted rezoning the above-
described property , which is presently zoned C - 2 Thoroughfare Commer-
cial District , to I - 1B Light Industrial District :
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . That the above-described property which is presently
zoned C - 2 Thoroughfare Commercial District be and the same is hereby
rezoned to I - 1B Light Industrial District ,
